“Follow the money” has been a pretty reliable measure when looking at where a candidate’s interests lie. Not all candidates for our little San Mateo City Council race are popping up in the margins of my computer as we speak, but there he is again, compliments of the National Association of Realtors Fund “not authorized by a candidate or a committee.”etc. etc.
He’s obviously their star. I also see a total of about $55,000 is being spent from both the Realtor’s fund and the California Apartments Association — far exceeding anything any others have gotten. It’s nice to be so popular with one narrow segment of our society on a national as well as state level. Maybe they’re thinking of challenging the Trump with him in 2020?
