A former mayor of Foster City and landlord has handed 16 families in San Mateo with exorbitant rent increases of $1,000, and has ignored complaints of mold and pests.

These violations are putting the health and safety of these families at risk. The owner of the building is a high profile attorney and the former Mayor of Foster City.
